We recently experienced a technical issue that may have prevented this post from reaching you. Now that the issue has been resolved, I’m happy to share it with you.

The Savannah Suites are positioned with elevated decks offering uninterrupted views of the Serengeti plains and resident wildlife. Each suite includes a king-size bed, open living area, and outdoor lounge, allowing guests to observe the savannah and animal activity directly from their private deck. The elevated design provides the best vantage point for sunrise and sunset over the plains, combining comfort, privacy, and a fully immersive safari experience in one of the world’s most iconic landscapes.

Serengeti, Tanzania, Africa

The Serengeti National Park is located in northern Tanzania. It stretches across nearly 15,000 square kilometers of vast plains, acacia-dotted savannah, and riverine forests, forming one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife ecosystems and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Renowned for the Great Migration, the Serengeti hosts millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle as they move in timeless cycles across the landscape, followed closely by predators including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Beyond the drama of the migration, the Serengeti delivers exceptional year-round wildlife encounters, from large elephants to elusive nocturnal species. Its open grasslands allow for expansive visibility, making every drive feel cinematic and unfiltered.

What sets the Serengeti apart is its sense of scale and raw continuity, making it an environment that feels largely untouched.

Culinary Hotspot in the Serengeti

Boma at Elewana Serengeti Explorer

The Boma outdoor dining experience at Elewana Serengeti Explorer is a standout sensory highlight, offering an unforgettable evening under the vast Serengeti sky. Just a short, enchanting walk from the main lodge brings guests to a lantern‑lit corral nestled into the landscape, where crackling fire pits and Maasai storytelling set the tone for a truly immersive feast.

The menu blends African and Swahili‑inspired dishes, often featuring flame‑grilled “choma,” aromatic spice‑rubbed meats, local vegetables, and herb‑infused stews, all prepared with locally sourced ingredients. To finish, guests can savour locally inspired desserts while lingering by the fire, making Boma a quintessential Serengeti evening of food, culture, and connection with place.
